AP hotel is located on the hill, the location is a bit far away from city centre, always need to take a cab or hotel shuttle. Room that i chose is a Japanese style room with tatami and onsen. Very comfortable tatami and super comfortable room. Onsen is excellent too. Breakfast choice is limited, should have a wider variety of food choice with this price.

Stepped on a piece of glass in the hotel room

Thought twice before posting this review as my experience at the hotel was in general positive except for an incident. I stepped on a piece of glass when I was walking in the hotel room barefoot and it should not have happened for a hotel like this. I called the hotel front desk immediately and the hotel staff asked me if I could come down to get band aid.. I told the staff no because I stepped on glass then they sent someone up, who didn't bother to ask how I was. Thought it was funny that nobody asked me how my stay was when I was checking out, perhaps because of the incident.

We stayed at Asia Pacific Hotel Beitou for 2 nights, and we had the most amazing experience. These are just a few things that we loved in the hotel: • Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. Even had a private bath onsen ( bath tub with thermal water), which we loved using. We really felt the luxury of the hotel. • Expresso coffee machine, snacks, and a full mini bar included in our room were just perfect. • Buffet breakfast was delicious with much variety. • All the staff was very professional, nice and kind. They really know how to take care of their guests. We felt really special the way that everyone treated us. • Loved the indoor swimming pool complex and the onsen area. • We had an incredible VR experience for the first time in our life that is complementary for all hotel guests. We had, without a doubt, an amazing experience! We can't recommend enough staying at this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here for a relaxing get away. Top notch service. The staffs provided the warmest greeting. Kind, friendly, thoughtful driver, Our server were very sweet and attentive. I definitely recommend doing VR game experience. The staff were great in explaining the game and getting us set up. Fun for all age levels! Overall stay was pleasant. Staring from check in to check out, All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Had an absolute blast here! In short, We had a wonderful experience and hope to come back soon for another relaxing get away.

Book the Delux rooms worth it

Placed on a nice high point on the hill , we booked 3 delux rooms and were offered 2 delux and one regular and after a couple of attempts (to be fair staff tried to help) they conformed the king delux we booked wasn’t available and to get a deluxe we needed to accept a twin which we took but were a bit disappointed. I still highly recommend the Delux rooms because they have a nice resting area (in the picture) in front of your private hot spring plunge bath in the room facing a nice window overlooking the hill. This was the highlight of our stay , really relaxing. Food wasn’t really up to the standard of other similar grade hotels we stayed in Taiwan. I hope this can be improved as the building is clean the pool area really nice and the staff very friendly
